Does this sound like you?

Stubborn pain isn't something you have to live with.

Shockwave therapy that actually works

Targeted treatment. Paired with movement analysis.

Shockwave delivers high-intensity sound waves into injured tissue to improve blood flow, support collagen production, and trigger the body's natural healing response.

Shockwave therapy being applied on an ankle

Focused and radial shockwave

We use both. Focused shockwave for deeper tendon and joint issues, radial pressure wave for more superficial muscle and tendon conditions. Your clinician picks the right approach for your case.

Radial pressure wave treatment

Never used on its own

Shockwave is always paired with biomechanics analysis, movement retraining, and strength progression, so you fix the cause, not just the symptom.

How it works

Three steps. Real recovery.

  1. 1
    Evaluation.

A detailed assessment of how you move, where load is accumulating, and why tissue is struggling.

  2. 2
    Shockwave + movement plan.

Targeted treatment combined with manual therapy, strength progression, and biomechanical retraining.

  3. 3
Full recovery and return to load.

A progression designed to build tissue capacity so the pain stays gone.

★★★★★

After three failed PT attempts elsewhere, the gait analysis here finally found the root cause of my recurring Achilles tendinopathy. The 3D motion capture showed a hip drop I had no idea about. Six weeks later I PR'd at my first ultra. Worth every minute.

★★★★★

Struggled with shin splints through 2 training blocks. Shockwave therapy plus the gait retraining they prescribed fixed it in 4 weeks. They don't just blast the area with modalities — they find WHY it's happening. Running pain-free for the first time in 18 months.

Quick answers

Good questions shockwave patients ask.

What conditions does shockwave treat?

Plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, patellar or quadriceps tendon pain, shin splints, calf strains, trochanteric bursitis, rotator cuff issues (including calcific), tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, muscle strains, trigger points, scar tissue restrictions. A proper evaluation confirms fit for your specific case.

Does it hurt?

Most people describe it as firm pressure or localized tenderness. Uncomfortable but tolerable. The intensity is always adjusted to stay manageable. No anesthesia needed.

How many sessions will I need?

Most plans involve about 6 sessions spaced about one week apart. Exact plans vary based on the condition, tissue response, and movement demands.

Can I keep training?

In many cases, yes. Sessions are short and most clients continue training or exercising the same day with guidance from their PT.

Are there any contraindications?

Yes: blood clotting disorders, anticoagulant medication, recent steroid injection, pacemakers, tumors at the treatment site, acute fractures, active infections, or impaired sensation. We screen carefully at evaluation.

How does payment work? Do you accept insurance?

We're cash-pay only — we don't accept insurance, and that's intentional. Insurance-based PT caps session time and dictates treatment. Our cash model lets us spend a full hour one-on-one with you each session, use the research-grade technology that actually works, and build a plan around your goals. We work in personalized care packages tailored to what you need, with transparent pricing discussed during your free Discovery Visit.
